Eco-Friendly Focus on Decluttering Your Home and Reducing Your Carbon Footprint

Marie Kwondo famously says “let go of anything that does not spark joy.”

But what do you do with all of that stuff once it’s piled in a corner and ready to go out?

At Shore Simplicity, we partner with local non-profit organizations to ensure that all of the donated items are sent to a genuinely good cause.

All of the organizations we work with are close to my heart. Each non-profit is carefully researched and curated to ensure that all items are genuinely going to the public. No massive corporations where only $1 of every item donated goes back to the community.

When I help my clients clean out their homes, whether it be to downsize or declutter, I didn’t realize at first how much people were going to purge! Seeing all of these perfectly usable items in front of me, the first thought was “I cannot throw all of this out!”

Last year alone, our business helped donate 57 truckloads worth of clients’ donations.

IMAGINE! 57 truckloads.

Empowering our customers and getting them involved in that process is so tantamount. Now they’re excited about purging, local non-profits are benefiting, and it's a win-win-win for everyone.

So if you’re looking for a place to donate your purged goods, click the link here for a list of all the non-profits we partner with, and tell them we sent you!
