  • What kind of spaces do you organize?
    We organize ALL residential and commercial spaces, including basements, garages, sheds, and storage units. Is it a whole house overhaul you need? No problem! We love revitalizing every inch of your surroundings. We also offer packing and unpacking for moves and renovations, downsizing/senior transitioning, estate clean outs, and much, much more.   • How do you charge?
    We charge by the hour per organizer. All of of our services are a la carte, so you can pick and choose the solutions you need. We never insist on package pricing. 😊
  • Why should I pay someone to help me get organized?
    Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our hectic lives! The #1 reason we’re hired to organize is (you guessed it) lack of time. Our professional team will quickly identify problem areas, shop within your budget for supplies, and create long-lasting, sustainable solutions to maintain peace and order. Plus, we offer discounted maintenance plans, knowing life gets busy and messy.
  • Help! I’m embarrassed by my mess.
    Okay, first and foremost, we are moms. Trust us when we say we’ve seen it all (especially in our own homes 😂). Not only would we never judge, but we take pride in helping you — with your privacy and confidentiality in mind. What happens in a Shore Simplicity organized space stays there. You’re inviting us into your most personal spaces; we don’t take that trust lightly.
  • How involved do I need to be?
    We invite you to be as involved in the process as you like (but we really think you should do something fun instead)! First, we empty your space and categorize its contents. Next, we request your input for a few minutes to decide what you're eliminating. Once we know what you want to purge, we pull out our magic wands and get to work. No worries if you can't be available the day of; you can mark unwanted items with a Post-It or blue tape. Our goal is to make this as stress-free as possible.
  • Do you work with other professionals?
    We shore do! Shore Simplicity has fantastic relationships with several reputable and trusted companies. We subcontract a handyman for big and small tasks. We can also connect you with our interior designer, contractors/builders, closet designers, estate sale professionals, movers, junkers, and realtors.
  • What do I do with the items I no longer want?
    Great question! Shore Simplicity proudly partners with over two dozen charitable organizations. We will either deliver or arrange pick- ups for your purged items. Our mission is to donate first, recycle next, and discard as a last resort. We are committed to giving back to our communities and being kind to the environment.
  • What areas do you serve?
    While we are based out of Monmouth County, NJ, we proudly serve all of New Jersey and Staten Island. Don’t hesitate to contact us for details regarding our travel fees for areas further than one hour from our home office.
  • Do you offer complimentary estimates?
    The short answer is yes! We can provide a virtual estimate through pictures and videos for most small or single-area spaces. Closets, playrooms, garages, kitchens, sheds, and single rooms are a few spaces we can estimate virtually after a few simple follow-up questions. We offer complimentary in-person estimates for larger-scale organizing jobs or some of our other services.
  • How do I book a service?
    Once you approve our estimate, we require a $200 deposit credited toward your total cost. We then schedule an in-home consultation to discuss your vision, budget, desired aesthetic, and needed supplies. Next, we take any necessary measurements and "before" pictures and videos. Estimates remain valid for six months.
  • What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?
    Since our schedule books quickly (and out of respect to other clients), we require 24-hour notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Barring an emergency, clients who cancel less than 24 hours before their scheduled service will forfeit their deposit.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    We accept Venmo, Zelle, credit card, and cash.
  • Can I gift your services?
    Yes! Shore Simplicity offers gift cards in any amount. The gift of our services is perfect for almost any occasion or milestone…birthdays, a new home Mother’s and Father’s Days, a new baby. What better gesture than to gift someone peace and order?
  • What if I can’t afford your services?
    We often have clients give us their maximum budget. We are happy to provide a plan for what we can achieve within your cost limit. Since we bill hourly, you can prioritize what spaces you’d like us to tackle.
